Hi, Richard.
We're very glad you find UltiDev Cassini useful. Regarding .asx file, to test the issue, we created a bogus .asx file and placed it into a folder that served from under both Cassini 1.1 and 2.0. When we pointed browser to the .asx file, in both cases servers returned "Content-Type: video/x-ms-asf" header, according to
Fiddler http tracer. We used IE6 and FireFox, and in both cases MS MediaPlayer was launched to attempt playing the file - no Save or Cancel dialog. We suspect your client MIME settings got changed by some other media player program. To test this suggestion, on the box where you got Download: Save or Cancel dialog, try to point browser to an .ASX file served by some other non-Cassini server and see if there's a difference. Another test would be to run above-mentioned Fiddler http tracer and see whether you get the same Content-Type header as we did. If not, please let us know.
Regards,
UltiDev Team.
