Hi

We sell an intranet app running under UltiDev Cassini. Typically our clients have 5-20 users using our system on their own LAN.

We want our clients to be able to access their app over the internet when working offsite or in other offices.

HttpVpn sounds just the ticket but we need to know:-

a) Is it still in Beta, and if so, when could we expect a production release?
b) The commercial pricing for each HttpVpn proxy?
c) How many HttpVpn proxies would each of our clients need?

This last point is because we are not clear whether HttpVpn supports multiple, concurrent connections.

Appreciate your feedback
regards
Ultidev Team

Hi there!

a) We are planning to release one or two more Betas later this year and get to production in Q1 2012. We are working on significant compatibility improvements of the system that we hope will allow virtually any web application to be compatible with HttpVPN with no changes to the application whatsoever.

b) We didn't decide on prices yet, but lean towards the following idea: consumers wound't have to pay anything for the first proxy, educational organizations and and non-profits would pay around $5/month subscription fee, business and government organizations would pay around $10/month. Please understand that the price is not final.

c) One proxy per LAN might be enough, depending on the traffic generated.

Please let is know if this information was helpful.

All the best,
UltiDev Team.

Thanks for the response.

2012 is a long way away, and really cannot offer beta to our clients.
