I am now trying serve two sites from a single cassini installation. Each site is serverd on a different port number. However which ever site I sign on to first becomes the site served from both port numbers. Is this a bug, or does it suggest that my installation is faulty.

Hi!
Could you please run Cassini Explorer after you installed your application(s) and see what ports your applications were assinged. Also Cassini Explorer will show physical location of both of your aplications. Please let us know whether your applications were assinged disfferent ports and whether they point to different physical locations. After your applications get installed, Cassini Explorer can be launched from Start | Programs | UltiDev | Cassini ASP.NET Server | Cassini Explorer.

Thank you for using UltiDev Cassini Web Server.
Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

Hello Ultidev Team,

the two sites have the same physical location, but have different port numbers assigned to them.
If I click on the link in Cassini Explorer to launch the homepage for one of the apps, I get the app I expect. If I close the browser, the do the same for the other app I get the other app. However if I try to run both apps at the same time I only get the first app I started. I don't know if it makes any difference but I specified the port numbers when I registered the apps.

Hi!
Design of UltiDev Cassini does not prohibit running two apps from the same physical directory, but even though simple apps we tested didn't cause any problems, we noticed that DotnetNuke seems to be upset when ran from the same physical directory - it goes into the infinite loop of redirecting to its root URL. It would help us to know what version of Cassini you're running, as well as whether you run your own app or some 3rd party app. Please contact us over the email to continue troubleshotting the issue.

Thank you for using UltDev Cassini,
UltiDev Team.
