Hi,

This looks great. I see that it's free and currently in beta. What are the final plans? Will it be a commercial product once finished? If so, will it be redistributable (royalty free) with any app I make? What is a ballpark price?

Michael,

Cassini will continue to be completely free when it's released. All aspects of Cassini usage, including redistributing it with your ASP.NET applications will be free. Basically, the only thing you can't do is to distribute Cassini as a standalone product bypassing UltiDev. As long as you package UltiDev Cassini merge module with your ASP.NET application - you're free to do so without any obligations to UltiDev.

We are currently working on Release Candidate 1 (RC1) version that will be available in a few weeks. We hope to make a final release of Cassini in early spring. (Disclaimer: dates are estimates only and subject to change.)
