I have a web application built using asp.net 4.0 c#. I am able to set up the application on my development server and I am able to browse to the application from the web. I am now trying to set up the application on the production server. Once set up on the production server I am now unable to navigate to the application.
I get, server error in "/" application.
I have set up ultidev exactly the same on both machines.
The application has a certificate attached to it and that seems to be connected properly.
The only difference I see is the operating system on the two machines. My development machine is running Windows 7 and the server is running Windows Server 2003.
The server's firewall is turned off and I have set up the router's port forwarding to look at the server itself.
Could this error be caused by the different operating systems settings?

I have been trying to troubleshoot this for a couple days now and have run out of ideas.
Thanks for any help

Hi there!

Could you please attach a screenshot of the error displayed by the browser, and also a screenshot of the application settings in the UWS Explorer, like this.

Here are the screen shots.

FYI: You can navigate to the Test.htm page on the site but you cannot navigate to any of the .aspx pages.

Hi there!

It appears that the web application is crashing. Please take a look here to find out how to enable mode details in your application error reporting.

Attached is a screenshot of the error after enabling mode details.

Any ideas what would cause this error?

I have found a solution to my problem.
I was missing .dll files for Microsoft Report Viewer.
Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common.dll
Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms.dll
Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms.dll
I needed to put these three files into the bin folder of the project and it worked.

The .dll files for this are located here:
%programfiles%\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\ReportViewer\*.*

When you install Visual Studio these .dll files come with it so that is why it would work on my development server and not on my production server.

Thank you for all the assistance with this issue, I wouldn't have been able to find a solution without your help!
