Good Morning,
I've installed Web Server *PRO* for host a web service project make with .net 4.0
The machine is Windows Vista Home Basic. I've installed Web Server *PRO* because IIS don't work in WVHB.
I have configured the service with Web Server *PRO* but when i click start the state will not change in running, and no one message error appear :/
I have try to host .net web service done with framework 3 or 3.5 and it running fine.

Why with framework 4.0 don't work?

Thank you so much.

Hi!

Thank you for posting screenshots. Could you please take a look at Windows Event Log (Application)? There should be entries indicating why .net 4.0 host process is failing. Feel free to post them here is it's not clear why this is going on. If you want, you could also export the EVTX file from the event log and attach it to your response. We'd suggest clearing up the the event log first, then clicking "Save config changes" in UWS Explorer to make UWS attempt restarting your application, and after that exporting windows event log as a file and sending it to us.

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

Ok, i've attached that.

i've restarted UltiDev and is appear an error on 26/10/2012 22.44.37:

'Impossibile eseguire il binding al trasporto sottostante per [::]:80. L'elenco relativo agli indirizzi IP di solo ascolto può contenere un riferimento a un'interfaccia non esistente sul computer in uso. Il numero di errore è indicato nel campo dati.'

TRASLATED:
Unable to bind to the underlying transport for [::]: 80. The list for the listen-only IP addresses can contain a reference to an interface that does not exist on your computer. The error number is indicated in the data field.

if this is the problem, what it mean with interface?

Hi there!

Thank you for posting event log file.

The error we see is not the one you have cited. We see "Can not load the WebEngine.dll. Can't find the specified module." There was similar problem reported recently, but we still are unable to figure out what is going on. We found that this problem affects other web servers as well. This post suggest that your .NET Framework installation could be broken. If you could try to register this application with UWS on another machine and see whether this problem is reproducible on other systems, or it's machine-specific - it would help us understand what the problem might be. If it's machine-specific, please try to fix or reinstall .NET Framework 4.0.

Please let us know what you have found.
