Hi,
I have started to use UltiDev Web Server Pro and i found it great.
My Q is how I can force UltiDev Web Server Pro to recycle after some time or requests ?
It is easy in IIS 7 and also I found a button to make a manual recycle but how to make it periodic?
thanks

Hi there!

We've been thinking about the feature, but it would be pushing our product in the realm of quite complicated and settings too confusing. How often do you have to re-cycle the host and why? Is it caused by a UWS problem, .NET memory/resources, or the application behavior? Is letting the process crash so that UWS monitoring service would restart it an acceptable work-around?

Best regards,

Well,
for your Q why?
I host a web service and my client request it several time and after certain requests the server block any incoming requests!
I face this issue in IIS7 and recycling was my solution.
But in Win XP IIS 5.1 is so poor so i Used your great Web Server.
Do you know how can I face this issue ?
I restart the web server service every 5 minutes by an external small app!
So any suggestions?

Hi!

Unfortunately we don't have a good solution to the problem. Web application the needs to be restarted every 5 minutes is not a common enough use case to support. It looks like it's either upgrade to windows 7 to get IIS or to fix the application.

Best regards,
