I am trying to install UltiDev Web Server Pro and am getting the following error.
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Hello, Eric!

We definitely would like to figure out what's going on - we don't get installation problems reported often. It's clear that UWS.RegRepair.exe has failed, but MSI logs, although long, are very short on useful information. Could you please follow this post to collect diagnostics? Files we ask for usually contain enough information to get a good idea about what went wrong.

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

Eric,

Thank you much for including the logs. Is there a change your could also provide a EVTX file from Windows Event log?

We have looked up our records and although the error sounded like something we saw once a few months ago, we could not find the information. Is there anything specific about the system you can think of? Is there a similar system (like same OS, same AD domain and same security policies, same user login) where you could test the installer?

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

Hello, Eric!

We have looked at the event log, but it had same information. Would it be possible to clean up the log file, then run the installation to let it fail, and then export the entire log, and not just errors? It provides more information about what was going before the failure. Details about cleaning up the log are here.

Best regards,

I performed a repair on my computer with "tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio_setup" (as a last resort before reinstalling windows) and tried again with 4.65 and it worked.

Thanks for you help.
