Two questions:

Is there a command line option for update existing applications (ie changing the port)? I've used the registration tool to register an app, just don't know if the same tool can be used to update an app.

Where is the information for the currently registered apps stored? For some reason, the web explorer is not installing on some XP and Windows 7 machines and I need a way to access that information.

Thank you,
Malcolm

Malcolm,

Sorry for the delay with response. You can use command-line registration to update application info. Applications are identified by their GUID ID, and multiple registrations for the same app ID overwrite previous application entry.

Cassini stores application registration in the CassiniMetabase.xml file located in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\UltiDev\Cassini". You can use UltiDevCassiniServerConfiguration.dll .NET assembly (located in "C:\Program Files\UltiDev\Cassini Web Server for ASP.NET 2.0") that provides an API for application configuration management. Having said this, we would suggest trying to figure out why Cassini Explorer is failing. Could you check "Add/Remove Programs" for whether UltiDev Cassini Web Server Explorer is present? Whatever the cause of failure, Windows Event Viewer (Application) should have error entries logged.

Please let us know what you have found.
