Hello,
I am new in doing website thingy.
Trying to use UltiDev Cassini Web server,
but have problem registering.
After installing the web server, it prompts me to register application.
I have no clue what is Pick Default document, so i browse for my training website.
and keep getting this message "Specified folder does not exist on the server machine."
Anyone please kindly help me.

Sorry for the stupid question, I hope somebody could help.

Hi there!

In, general, to register an application with UltiDev Cassini you need to provide its location (physical folder), default document (like Default.aspx or index.htm) and application ID. When you use "Pick Default Document" button, you can select the default document file, and then hit Generate button, which will create an application ID and populate both Physical Location and Default Document fields. After that you click Save button, and your application is going to be hosted by UltiDev Cassini.

One word of caution, though: UltiDev Cassini is a web server designed mostly for intranet (local area network) hosting, not Internet hosting. We recommend considering security implications very seriously when hosting Internet-facing sites under UltiDev Cassini.

Thank you for helping, it helps alot.
So my problem is that after i hit the generate button (picked default file already),
it didn't populate both the physical location and default file.
Understood it after seeing the screenshot provided.
So i filled in manually the path for physical location and the default file name.
Working now,

And i am still only planning to do it intranet.
Build up website then maybe will try it to the world wide.
