Hello,

We have downloaded the Cassini web server version 2.0.9. On the cassini webserver we configured an web application developed using .NET Framework 3..5. While configuring we registered it as a 2.0 since there was no 3.5 shown in the list. In the web application we are referencing an assembly built with .NET Framework 3.5. When we run the application we get the following error with respect to this assembly

"Could not load file or assembly '<assembly name>' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."

However another assembly similar to this but developed with .NET Framework 2.x does not give any such error. Also note this application works perfectly when run on IIS.


Please guide us to resolve this issue.

Thanks for your quick reply. The issue seems to be with the 64 bit system. Could you please send us the 32 bit EXE file as mentioned in the other thread given by you.

Hi, All, I want to protect my ASP.NET code so i compiled it, then I prepared my msi installer with cassini inclusive so when deploying on my client computer, it installed well and when i start the program i started getting error saying " Title page is not part of the web page", but we all know that Title is where we title our web pages right?

so why do i get these error ? If you want I can upload a ASP.NET VS 2008 Compiled program so that you can create an istallable msi and try deploy it to a computer with MSSQL express and see what will happend if it works well, pls show me how you do it.
