- Chances are running DNN 5 on UltiDev Cassini is possible, but may not necessarily work right out of the box. Different versions of DNN have different levels of compatibility with UltiDev Cassini. DNN 4.0.2 was working right out of the box, while later ones had issues. We have not tried DNN 5 in house, so unfortunately can't tell how difficult it could be.

- UltiDev Cassini footprint is small, and size-wise, it is only a few megabyte. If you are interested in launching your application from a removable drive, like flash or CD, the outcome will depend on the OS: it can be done with Windows XP, and pretty much cannot be done with Vista in its default configuration (with UAC on). More details in this thread.

- Could you please elaborate on what "it" is in the "Does it require lots of knowledge" question? If you mean including UltiDev Cassini into an application installer, then using this walk-through document it should take 2-3 hours. Please let us know if you meant something else. In general, UltiDev Cassini is much simpler to install and operate than IIS.
