How do I find - and remove - the app config data ?

I have had 2 apps working properly. When I added a 3rd I mistyped the path (forward slashes instead of back) and now none of my applications comes up with Cassini because of an "unhandled error".

Fair enough - Cassini is vulnerable to a config/ typing mistake - but when I bring up the "Web Server Explorer" (1) I get the exception message and (2) I cannot get to edit the wrong data. Explorer simply tells me "Can't display the page".

So and I'm truly stuck!. Uninstalling and re-installing doesn't change the data, so I'm in an infinite loop.

I see in the directory the server pages - incl. ApplicationDetails.aspx - but not where the physical config data is kept.
Where is this actual data kept? And the name of the file? so I can blow it off completely and restart from scratch ?? I'm quite happy to do that since right now I can't do any work.

HELP! and advTHANKSance :-)

Hi, Sylvain.

We are sorry for inconvenience - Cassini failing to load when some application path is incorrect is unintended and we'll investigate and fix it in the next release.

Cassini metabase file, CassiniMetabase.xml, is a regular XML file that you should have no trouble editing to correct the misspelled path. The file is located in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\UltiDev\Cassini" folder on Windows XP and 2003. Saving metabase file after you are done editing it will automatically restart the service.

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

You are welcome. Thank you for using Cassini! As it turns out this issue is a known bug - we already have it registered in our bug tracking system. We will fix it for the next release.

All the best,
