I need to bind the UldiDev Cassini WebServer to the IP address 127.0.0.1, but I don't know how to do this and I did not found a configuration setting for this.

Any ideas?

Thx a lot...

Hi there!

UltiDev Cassini is bound to all addresses on a given port. You don't need to do anything specific to make Cassini to listen to 127.0.0.1 specifically - it already does. If, say, you have registered your application to use port 1234, you can reach the application at http://127.0.0.1:1234/

Please let us know if this has helped.

Sorry, my mistake...

I want the Cassini WebServer to be accessible local ONLY. It should not be possible to access to the webserver from another computer.

Hi!

Well, although it's impossible to make entire server ignore remote requests, you can relatively easily make your application listen to only local requests.

You can use software firewalls to lock down all inbound ports. Alternatively, you could also uninstall UltiDev Cassini Explorer to prevent it from listening on port 7756. If there are no other applications, then you are pretty much locked down.

Please let us know if this was helpful.
