running an executable (.exe file) for generating html

I have just installed the server.

The html files are displayed as expected.
Beside ASP, I also have some legacy applications for generating html reports.

The server does not run exe files because it does not recognize them as executables (what the user geys is an unkown type error. The user has a choice between saving and finding an application for this file type).

Is there a setting for this, or is there no possibility to use exe for html generation ?

(This exe files generate valid html content - it works ok under Apache Server)

Hi,

Unfortunately, UltiDev Cassini supports neither legacy ASP, not CGI - where EXEs and DLLs generate the HTML. UltiDev Cassini can only serve ASP.NET pages or static HTML.
