Hey

First off great product, been using it for many years.

Is it possible to get an installer option that is complied to work with .NET 4+ ?

Microsoft ended support for .NET framework 2 -3.5 in 2011
https://support.microsof...;alpha=.net%20framework

If it was complied to the latest .NET 4.7 release it would still be backward compatible to the .NET 4 framework
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb822049(v=vs.110).aspx

Would really streamline the installation process.
A lot of time must be wasted installing old frameworks and getting permission for server restarts etc.

Cheers,
Luke

Hi, Luke.

Thank you for the kind word about our little server.

We don't have, unfortunately, an installer that is not dependent on CLR2. That dependency is actually a bug in MS Visual Studio "Setup & Deployment Project". We're evaluating our next release backlog and it's a bit difficult for us get into it, as the usage of and demand for the redistributable web server is on decline due to OWIN self-hosting, Docker, and also due to many applications moving from on-premises to the cloud model. We may make another release and try to remove CLR2 dependency, but we don't have date i mind.

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.
