Hi

Just downloaded Cassini. I'm trying to run dotnetnuke.

I've set up a site and it loads up fine with Cassini and can be viewed at this URL:

http://localhost:1375/Default.aspx

However whenever I click on a link, let's say the login link it will go to an address like this:

http://localhost/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fDefault.aspx

so I can no longer view the site. In order to view it I have to manually type in the port number again like this:

http://localhost:1375/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fDefault.aspx

and then I can view the site. This happens with every link, any ideas if there is a way around this so it doesn't remove the port number on every click?

Thanks

Mark

Hi, Mark.

If memory serves, DNN app has main configuration file (probably web.config), where base URL is stored. DNN compatibility with UltiDev Cassini changes from one DNN release to another, so it has proven to be pretty much impossible to maintain consistent set of steps for DNN deployment on UltiDev Cassini. On some older DNN versions we had to tweak that base URL setting to make DNN work.

Please let us know if this information was helpful.
