Getting Cassini to see c:\inetpub\wwwroot

Cassini is a great product, but it has problems in seeing the c:\inetpub\wwwroot where we keep all our common bits and pieces.
We have a folder called Resources inside c:\inetpub\wwwroot which Visual Studio.NET cannot see so we get these messages:

Error 2 Failed to map the path '/resources/includes/styles.html'. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Lambeth.EForms.DiscretionaryHousingPayment\error.aspx 13

And these errors stops VS from compiling the application.
Can you please help me? I am using Cassini that was shipped with Visual Studio.NET.

Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 2.0.50727

Installed Edition: Professional

Thank you for using our product.

Applications under Cassini cannot access folders above their own for security reasons. Applications can only reference resources from application root down.
