Installation problem on Chinese system

Hi

I'm having a problem installing Cassini for ASP.NET 2.0 on a Chinese XP Home PC.

The error I get is
Service Install()
System.IO.FilenotFoundException (then some chinese that translates to disk or program error) -(Exception from HRESULT : 0x8007007B) at IWshRuntimeLibrary.IWshShortcut.Save() at CassiniService.ProjectInstaller.Creat....

Has anyone seen this or something similar before and is there a fix or work around.

This is using the latest version from the website.

Steve,

we have tested the installation with several localized versions of XP, including German, Russian, and Korean, to make sure we don't have problems with different folder names. We have quite a few people from China who downloaded and installed the product and have not heard about this before.

To help you troubleshoot the problem, could you please post the entire error message, if possible? Also, please check Windows Event Log (Application) for more error information.

Steve,

It seems like Windows Scripting Host (WSH) component may have been uninstalled from the target computer. WSH is normally part of the Windows installation, but it can be unregistered by accident or by incorrectly written uninstaller. Please try to download and install WSH, and then try installation of your product again.
