I get this erroR, but can't see anything wrong with the Guid. The error appears when I run setup, after I have made the setup project described on the Ultidev website.

"Failed to register an application with Cassini while cinverting appID parameter to GUIL. -> Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 daqshes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx)"

Anyone got this error before? what could be causing this problem?

Hello, Neogeo.

The problem like this may happen if the CustomActionData string values are somehow incorrect. The most probable reason is the parameters are not being separated by whitespaces. Each parameter, like /AppName, /AppID, etc. must be preceded by a white space. (First parameter does not need to have a space in front of it).
