Hi,

I'm using Cassini to run my umbraco websites locally. However, I'm getting errors when a website is using mysql as its database is hosted at using cassini. When I remove the website with MySQL database, everything works fine.

What can I do with this? Please see the error below.

Thanks.

Regards,
Harry

Hi, Harry.

Since UltiDev Cassini hosts all application in its own process, crash of an application looks exactly like a crash of the server - Windows reports our service EXE as crashing. In order to get information on what is causing the crash, please take a look at Windows Event Viewer (Application). An attempt of using 32-bit ODBC driver in Cassini 64-bit process could cause the crash. In case you are running your application on a 64-bit system, be sure that MySQL driver you are using are 64-bit as well.

Please let us know if this information was helpful.
