can't find UltiDevCassiniHttpRequestProcessor2.0.dll

Dear UltiDev!

I want to use Cassini Web Server without installing it. That sounded quite simple and I found solutions
about this issue in this forum. Unfortunatley I can't find this mentioned UltiDevCassiniHttpRequestProcessor2.0.dll.

The webserver works pretty well, if I install it, but without installation the server complains about
this UltiDevCassiniHttpRequestProcessor2.0.dll file (or one of its dependencies).

How can I find this file? Is it necessary? I have searched the whole computer for this DLL.

UltiDevCassiniHttpRequestProcessor2.0 is in GAC, but we do not endorse using this approach because it breaks your license agreement. If you expect to ship lots of copies of your application without properly installing UltiDev Cassini, please contact us to get written permission from UltiDev. We make UltiDev Cassini free because it carries our brand items, such as Program menu items and links, for example. Without it we lose on promoting our products and brand to potential customers. Dear Utildev Team!

To get a written permission woudl be great!

Installing an application often fails due to the lack of rights on a computer.
The application is a database driven Windows and ASP.NET application.

If one has .net framework 3.5 installed than their is no need to install but
simple copy the application in a folder and setup a config file.

Nevertheless the technical problem is still present. I found the DLL in the GAC,
but the GAC doesn't tell me where it is located. With Windows search I can't
find a file that is named like that.

You should be able to find the DLL in a sub-folder of "C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\UltiDevCassiniHttpRequestProcessor2.0" directory.

Granting permissions to distribute stripped-down, re-branded or repackaged UltiDev Cassini usually involves a payment to UltiDev to compensate the company for the loss of brand promotion. To discuss this in more details please contact us via email.

Well, I will add the setup to the project and install it the common way.

One last question: Is there an offline setup package? As far as I have seen, it
downloads the propery components via internet.

Thank you for your understanding of our licensing!

When you add UltiDev Cassini as a setup project prerequisite, you can specify whether setup.exe will look for them on the Internet, or locally. More on that in the Visual Studio Developer's Guide.
