Creating Shortcuts In The Start Menu

I can't figure out how to create a shortcut in the start menu to a file that is located in the asp.net project. Any ideas?

Hi!

Would it be possible to create the .url file manually and place into "C:\Documents and Settings\<you user name>\Start Menu\Programs" and see what happens. If that works, try creating a dummy text file in your project and make your installer place it in the "User's Programs Menu" folder and see if that works.

I have no problem following the tutorial and creating a shortcut to the .url file. However I want to make a shortcut to an .exe located in the App_Data folder and there is no way to select individual files from the Applications folder to create a shortcut. Whenever I try to create a shortcut to the file manually, it just puts the .exe in the start menu instead of making a shortcut.

Ah I guess I just needed to add the files individually instead of just the folder.
