Hi,

I am using cassini web server for Asp 2.0(2.2.2594.42967 assembly version of UltiDevCassinWebServer2a.exe) and sometimes is crashing with the following message in the event logs:

An unhandled exception occurred and the process was terminated.

Application ID: UltiDevCassinWebServer2a.exe

Process ID: 3252

Exception: System.AppDomainUnloadedException

Message: Attempted to access an unloaded AppDomain.

StackTrace:

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

This crash appears sporadic under load after the service starts.
Also, there is a test case and possible a reson why is crashing at the following link which can be used to reproduce this issue: http://stackoverflow.com...domainunloadedexception

Kind Regards,
Alexandru.

Thank you, Alexandru.

We will review the code and if next release of UltiDev Cassini is going to use HttpListener-based approach, we'll add HttpRuntime.Close() call to Host.Close(). Current implementation of the Host class is almost exact replica of Cassini2 sample. Meanwhile, please take a look at this post - it shows how to make UltiDev Cassini service restart itself automatically after a crash.

Best regards,
