Hello,

Question 1) Is there a way to have a client on your lan access the http://localhost:4105 web site?

Question 2) Is there a difference between the embeddedweb server in VS 2008 and the standalone version?

Hello, Mike.

The answers are as follows:
1) With UltiDev Cassini (but not with Visual Studio web server) a client can call an application residing on another machine at http://machineNameOrIP:port/.
2) There are differences. Unlike Visual Studio web server, UltiDev Cassini can run as a service, can host multiple applications, has a configuration API, has application management UI, but most importantly it is an easily-redistributable web server that can be added to your product installation package.
