I am looking for directions on embedding the database so that it does not require a separate install. Is this possible?

Please check out MS SQL 2005 Express. It allows you to put your database file in the App_Data folder and ship it along with your ASP.NET 2.0 application. If you use Visual Studio 2005 to create your application installer, you can include SQL 2005 Express as a prerequisite to your deployment project - the same way you include UltiDev Cassini.

In general, including or bundling a SQL database with Cassini-based application is no different from using SQL DB with IIS-based applications.
