FrontPage 2002 (and other versions) have something known as the "Database Base Wizard."
This wizard works in conjunction with an ASP web server and the Jet DB (aka MS Access) to "automagically" create Asp pages that can read, write and update a Jet DB.
Since XP/Home doesn't have IIS and cannot be made to install/run IIS without a successful hack, its a problem of how to do this on that OS.
While I personally own a copy of MS Office with the Jet DB/Access in it many users may not.
I now have enough experience with the Jet DB to understand that it doesn't offer complete ANSI Sql compatibility.
Can you offer any ideas on how to create/re-create the functionality of IIS w/Access using your product? Most users of FP are not trying to turn into fulltime web developers. Nor are they really good at Sql DB's. So I am looking for a simple, turn key solution for XP/Home (besides upgrading to XP/Pro).
Thanks,
