Any way to suppress UWS Explorer loading after installing?

We are using Advanced Installer and UltiDev Web Server Pro is a prerequisite installed prior to our application. After the UltiDev Web Server Pro prerequisite installs, the UWS Explorer launches and obscures our application installer. I am looking for a way to configure our install to tell UltiDev to not launch UWS Explorer after install.

Hi, Patrick.

You must have missed prerequisites' UI configuration in the AI walkthrough.

Since the walkthrough is about an older version of AI, attached screenshot shows latest AI (version 11) prerequisite configuration. UWS installer, when run in passive mode, won't prompt users for anything and won't launch UWS Explorer at the end either.

Please let us know if this information has helped to resolve the problem.

Unfortunately, adding /passive and /quiet command line parameters in Advanced Installer does not prevent UWS Explorer from automatically launching after installation. I'll try to attach a screenshot of our settings (they are identical to the settings you recommended).

Any other command line parameters or options we might try?

Hi, Patrick.

Could you please take second attachment of this post, which is a smaple VS solution with a simple web app and several installation projects, the strip out installer projects other than AI, and have it built - that should produce a simple demo installer that does not launch UWS installation UI (except the progress bar). See whether you can reproduce the problem. We were unable to. If you repro the problem, please attach the solution to your response.

Our issue with UWS Explorer opening after installation of Web Server Pro has been resolved by adding the /passive and /quiet command line parameters to the Full UI text box in Advanced Installer . Our AI project is of the type "Full UI" so this makes sense. Thanks for your help on this. Attached is a screenshot showing the configuration that worked for us.

Got it, thank you for the update.

"/passive" will probably be enough. That will show UWS progress bar when it gets installed, but that's it - no UWS UI other than that.
