Hi

I have web server pro running on my windows 8 64 bit computer, no problems with the installation and it's running the application fine after registering it (smartermail).
My only problem is I forgot to name the directory, last time I did this I just named it for the site while setting up but this time I didn't and it's now called MRS (physical folder the site runs from) and it needs to be another name.
Can I rename the virtual directory?
If so how?
I've tried a few times but cannot get the change to stick.

Hope that's clear, I'm no tech just running a mail server within my own network.

Thanks in advance for any help

Steve

Hi, Steve.

You can use UWS Explorer's application settings Network Addresses tab to specify new virtual directory name. After that you need to press Save Config Changes button, as shown on the attached screenshot.

Please let us know if this information has helped.

Hi

I thought I'd posted again to let you know I'd solved it, I must have pressed the wrong button by mistake when posting the message, sorry.

I did go back in and noticed the save changes button, before I'd thought it was to save a backup as it was next to the restore button but I read it properly this time ;-)

Many thanks for the reply though, think I'll have to buy lunch now :-)

Regards
Steve

Just found what I did wrong when posting last time, I clicked the post reply at the bottom right but in my rush I didn't wait to see the box come up! (yes I did it again)
