Hello,
I am a bit confused, Is UltiDev Web Server Pro a web based corporate server?
Does UltiDev Web Server Pro gets installed on a web based dedicated server in order to have asp net website hosting through the means of this asp hosting control panel http://www.websitepanel.net/ ????

In other words I want to host asp net websites on a dedicated server and don't want to use the commercial microsoft windo wervers.

Hi,

UltiDev Web Server is a web server software for Windows, similar to IIS or Apache/Tomcat. It allows hosting web sites and ASP.NET applications. It is unrelated to the site you have referenced. You can install our web server software on a Windows machine to host ASP.NET applications, whether they are Internet- or intranet-oriented.

Thanks for your great news,
just 1 littel more question, as I don't want to use any windows 2012 server edition can I use instead with Ultidev pro apache mode mono instead?

Hi!

Unfortunately, UWS runs only Windows. It doesn't have to be Windows Server - unless you plan to process large number of concurrent connections. UWS can run on Windows 8, 7, or even Vista or XP SP2.

You may install UWS on a computer or VM provided by a web hosting service, like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or many others.
