Hi All

I have a program called tickets CAD and i want to be able to access on the web. It comes with ultidev. i seem to be getting lost in the setup. I have followed the setup instruction and get stuck when it comes to getting the program on line. When it comes to register proxy i have used Tickets as the network name it comes up with a message that the registration was successful and then takes me to the page myownsecureweb page. on the page it shows the portal with tickets on it but when i click on tickets the next has this

>>>>>>>>>> "file:////C:/ickets" is not an authroized URL for this HttpVPN Proxy to request.

As you might notice the T is missing. I have tryied to correct this problem but get the same result

Hello, Richard.

This appears to be a problem with our HttpVPN, which we can certainly help with, but we'd need more details. Could you please attach Tickets CAD installation instructions, and a document with screenshot(s) of how you have register the application with HttpVPN.

Best regards,
UltiDev Team.

Thanks for the reply

This is the only information that Tickets give the rest of the setup refers to your setup process

"A new version of the Tickets2Go Windows installer is now available in the download area. We are using a new install creator as well as a new, more flexible WAMP system which will run completely self-contained from either a hard drive or USB drive. Just install it to whatever drive you want. The default install configuration will run the system after clicking the Start Tickets2Go icon on the desktop, which will launch the browser automatically on the tickets home page. When you close the browser everything will automatically shut down. This can be changed while installing by selecting the checkbox Start with windows. This is recommended if other users on the network need to access tickets without someone being logged in to the tickets server. A new option we now have during install is to install a vpn proxy for secure internet access to your windows tickets install from outside members of your group. If you select this option you will be taken to a 3rd party web page to create an account and setup the access to your tickets install. Just follow the instructions on the web site. This installer includes the latest version of tickets, V2.20G, as well as 2 more items in the config area. You will now see 2 buttons at the bottom of the config area, one for phpMyadmin and one for our now included database backup/restore system. Going forward, new versions of tickets will also include the backup system. NOTE!! This installer is for a NEW install only! It will NOT update any existing tickets install, whether manually installed from the zip file or the windows installer. Maybe someday down the road."

I will do a screen catch latter when i get home from work

Many Thanks

Hi, Richard.

Unfortunately the images are two blurry and small to see what is going on. Could you please use Alt+PrtScn key combination to make screenshots of the current window, which puts it in the clipboard, then paste the shot into Paint and save them?

Hello, Richard.

For HttpVPN to make a web application accessible on the web, it needs to be properly hosted by a web server. The second screen shows that instead of supplying local LAN URL to the application, a file path specified. HttpVPN is not a web server - it's a proxy exposing an already-running web application on the internet. If Tickets application is written using MS ASP.NET, it can be hosted using our web server. After the application is accessible in the browser locally, it can be made available on the internet using HttpVPN.
