We've run the installation of Cassini for ASP.NET 1.1 on Windows 2000 Pro and were unable to reproduce the error. Would it be possible to provide a bit more information about the problem? For example, at what stage of the installation process does the error occur: during Cassini components installation or during the installation of your MSI after Cassini has already installed? If it's happenning during installation of your package, you could use msiecex.exe from c:\windows\system32 to run your MSI with logging to determine where the error occurs. Also please look at application Event Log (Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Event Log) to see if there are any error entries related to the installation. contact us so we could respond over email and you could send us the screenshot. Just in case, please also make sure that .NET Framework 1.1 is installed on you target system.
