Hi,

Using DBMon (or Dbgview.exe from SysInternals) we can see debug information sent using OutputDebugString function.

We use it in our developments applications.

But on Some PC (On a XP for example), the UWS does stop writing
5532: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3:52:23 PM
308: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3:52:23 PM
5532: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3:52:24 PM
308: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3:52:24 PM
5532: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3:52:25 PM
308: UWS.AppHost.Clr2.AnyCpu.exe Information: 0 : Monitor called at 6/10/2012 3::52:25 PM

The 2 process (308 and 5532) are
- UltiDev Web Server App Redirector (Private)
- Default Shared Host Process

Is there a way to stop you code from sending these debug informations?

Regards,

Hello!

At this point it's impossible to tell UWS to stop outputting debug info. Did we understand you correctly that it simply floods your output obstructing your useful information? We are not exactly clear what is the problem.

Yes, your output disturb us to diagnose our application. On Dbgview we can filter.

But the strange thing is that on two computer it does not same same debug information.

On XP, it does not stop sending each seconds one or two messages
On Vista, almost nothing.

With same configuration !

Hi there!

Is there a chance you are running different versions of UWS on those two systems? There were some changes in recent builds affecting what gets written in debug output.

At this point we can't think of ways to reduce debugging. You could suspend UWS host processes that don't run applications you use, but not much else, unfortunately.

You are right.
On Vista, The version you have installed - 2.0.15
On XP, The version you have installed - 2.0.16
We may come back to v2.0.15 to reduce debug.

How could we suspend "UltiDev Web Server App Redirector (Private)"?

Sorry, we spoke too soon - host process suspension feature is not yet released. We are afraid we can't suggest anything other than trying build 17 and if that does not help getting build 15.
