YES.
Hi, All!
While we are working hard on the UltiDev Web Server Pro release, which will target Visual Studio 2010, 2008 and 2005, we would like to offer a work-around for those of you who build ASP.NET 2.0-3.5 applications (not 4.0) using Visual Studio 2010 and want to incorporate UltiDev Cassini as a prerequisite in VS 2010 deployment project.
There are couple of ways to do that:
1. If you have both VS 2008 and 2010 installed, install UltiDev Cassini for Visual Studio 2008 if it's not installed yet, and then, 1.1 on 64-bit systems, copy "UltiDev Cassini Web Server for ASP.NET 2.0" folder from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages". 1.2 on 32-bit systems, copy "UltiDev Cassini Web Server for ASP.NET 2.0" folder from "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages" to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages".
2. If you have only Visual Studio 2010, but not 2008 installed, please download the ZIP and extract it, 2.1 on 64-bit systems, to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages", and 2.2 on 32-bit systems, to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages".
Quote:Please note that UltiDev Cassini does not yet support ASP.NET 4.0. Upcoming release will change that.
Once steps above are completed, "UltiDev Cassini Web Server for ASP.NET 2.0" will show up among prerequisites in Visual Studio 2010 setup project.
To remove the prerequisite from the list, simply delete "UltiDev Cassini Web Server for ASP.NET 2.0" folder from where it was created.
