Hi there!
Please note that you do not need to register your application with Cassini to run it in the debug mode. Registration is required if you want to host the application by the Cassini windows service. In fact when you run both registered application and run the application from Visual Studio, it hosts two separate instances of the application - on hosted by the Cassini windows service, and another one served by the interactive server application.
- For instructions on how to use UltiDev Cassini with VS'08, please follow
this link and and scroll down a little to the "Debugging in Visual Studio 2005".
- To register application with UltiDev Cassini, please go to http://localhost::7756/ and hit "Register Application" link. There click Browse and select default document of your web application, and finally click Save. Once registration is completed, your application is going to appear on the
application list. Once registered, you will be able to reach the application even when not debugging in Visual Studio.
