Groups: Member Joined: 3/9/2010(UTC) Posts: 2 Location: Sarasota		Wanted to know if there's a complete example of running a web app with Cassini on a CD. I followed the tutorial on creating a setup project. The build went fine. I have 1 error: 1. "The resource cannot be found." when entering my url I wanted to know what the steps are after setup.exe is run. If this web app was distributed on a CD, then what does the user do to access the web application? Also, I know the resource exists. So I assume I have entered the wrong path. What is the root of my web app after running setup.exe? Thanks, Gary

Could you please clarify whether you are trying to install a web application with Cassini from a CD on a local hard drive, or you want to run Cassini and the application from the CD? Did you try to run Setup.exe after the build? Also, what steps to you take that lead to the error? Specifically, where do you enter a URL? As far as the root of the application, our developer guide tells how to add a Start window shortcut during installation. That shortcut will take you to the root. Other way include launching Cassini Explorer at http://locahost:7756/ and navigating to your application from there, or pointing your browser to http://localhost:7756/GoToApplication.aspx?AppID=<appGuid>, where <appGuid> is the GUID of your application.
