Installing Cassini on PC with no internet connection

Hello,

I am trying to install Cassini on a PC which does not have an internet connection, (internal sandbox network). However, the installer appears to be only bootstrapped and attempts to dial home for the rest of the installer. Is there a true redistributable version available or is this a limitation??

Hi there!

Please follow this link to see the page with links to Cassini runtime MSIs download. Please download an appropriate Cassini server MSI and the server Explorer MSI. Since those do not come with the Setup.exe, be sure that .NET Framework is installed and on Vista and Windows 7 you run MSIs as administrator.

Nice one, thats just what I needed. I am looking at wrapping the install up inside my much bigger installer, but thats a long term plan and not a high priority for me at the minute. I am installing onto XP embedded only, so the UAC is not an issue.
