I am trying to install Cassini for my asp.net 3.5 version application. I downloaded the 3.5 version Cassini and the option for 3.5 doesn't show up in the drop down menu.

How can I use this web server for my 3.5 version application ? Please help...thank you in advance..

Hi there!

In order to run ASP.NET 3.5 apps please select ASP.NET 2.0. The reason for no distinction between 2.0 and 3.x is that 3.x framework runs on CLR 2.0, which means that frameworks of version 3.x are just additional assemblies relying on CLR 2.0. IIS has the same behavior - it also provides you choices between 1.x and 2.0. Please note that UltiDev Cassini is not compatible with WCF web services - it works only with ASMX.
