Hi there.
It seems you have installed original Microsoft Cassini sample web server, while WebGuide4 is shipped along with our UltiDev Cassini Web Server. The best way to find out why our Cassini fails during WG4 configuration, please do this:
1. Run Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Log
2. Select Application in the left panel, then right-click Application item, select Clear All Events and then No in the popped up dialog.
3. Run WebGuide configuration and let it fail.
4. Switch back to the Event Log and do Action | Refresh.
5. If you see errors or warnings log records related to UltiDev Cassini, double-click those items to bring up event details and click copy icon to copy error details to clipboard. Post errors here if there are not too many. If it's more than too, then please
contact us by email so we could provide you with email address where to send error information.
