We are doing our darnest to release the web server ASAP and the finish line is in sight.

If you could post here (or blog link here) about your IIS Express experience, that would be very helpful. We don't see IIS Express as a real competitor mainly because it seems to be running only as an interactive program and not a service, but we'd love to learn more from real users of IIS Express.

Hello, Stefano.

The plan is to make Alpha build available in about 4 weeks to those who monitor this thread and those who follow us on Twitter. The build will be of decent quality but it won't go through lots of testing, and it won't have documentation at that point. About three weeks later we'll post docs and release the first Beta.
